The Mercedes-Benz O309 was a model of van-based minibus produced by Mercedes-Benz between 1967 and 1986. The O309 was built at Iran Khondro Diesel's factory in Tehran, Iran, despite being badged as a Mercedes-Benz product. Production ceased in 1986, when the O309 was succeeded by the second generation Mercedes-Benz T2.

The O309 was based on the Düsseldorfer Transporter design of van and was innovative for it's era, being one of the first van-based minibuses to enter production. It was available with ten different engines during it's lifetime. The O309 was available with bodies by either Mercedes-Benz or Iran Khondro. None were ever sold in the UK despite global success.
